Hi everyone,
With this being my first "big" blog post I decided that a April Favorites would be a great way to start things off! These are the products that I have had love for this month. They are in no particular order. I love them all equally and couldn't chose an order.
With this being my first "big" blog post I decided that a April Favorites would be a great way to start things off! These are the products that I have had love for this month. They are in no particular order. I love them all equally and couldn't chose an order.
Number One and Two: MK @ Play Lip Crayon in Purple Punch and Coral Me Crazy
Number Three: Mary Kay CC Cream
For those of you that don't know what CC Cream stands for, it is Color/Complexion Corrector Cream. A CC Cream is going to be very lightweight and fast-absorbing. It is like a tinted moisturizer with SPF 15 and concealer all in one. The CC Cream is going to help minimize redness, reduce visible signs of aging, as well as, brighten and hydrate your face. Like the Lip Crayon, this product is great for a quick out the door look, great for errands or casual weekend. Some of us like to wear makeup at the beach. I'm talking on the sand in the water beach. Yes, my hand is raised but what are we going to do. The CC Cream is a great alternated to our regular foundation since it is lightweight and has sunscreen. We want that sun kissed look at the beach, not pageant ready. They retail for $20 ea(US) and can be purchased through me.
The Mary Kay CC Cream is easy to match with any skin tone with our 4 choice; very light, light to medium, medium to deep, and deep. With it being a color/complexion corrector it will match to your skin tone instead of you matching to it.
Number Four, Five, and Six: Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Boogie Nights, Rise and Shine, and Decadent
These next products are kind of self explanatory. NAIL POLISHES!! Who does love any tons of nail polishes?? Not this girl! The boogie nights is matte coral shade which is in season for Spring. The rise & Shine is a matte teal shade. I'm obsessed with teal anything so, of course, it's on my faves list. The last color, decadent, is glitter shade. The base color is clear and then has different size hot pink glitter pieces mixed in. I have not tried decadent my itself yet. I wore it with a black base and then painted my tips with the decadent. I am searching for another color to wear with it and try a look that I found on Pinterest. I bought these nail polishes at Wal-mart but can't remember the price.
Number Seven: First Aid Beauty-Ultra Repair Cream
Since I was a pre-teen I have suffered from rosacea. If you don't know, rosacea is a chronic skin condition that makes your face turn red and can cause swelling and skin sores that look like acne. I went to Sephora in search of something that could possibly help since in the summer it gets worse and burns my face. I don't know if its because of the rosacea but I get sun poison very easy when we go on vacation so I have to wear sunscreen with SPF 50-70. Back to Sephora, I told the woman what I was looking for and what my problem was and see brought me to this product, the Ultra Repair Cream. The bottle says it's used to hydrate dry, parched skin, to relieve minor irritation and itching due to eczema and other conditions. I wasn't to excited in the store because it said eczema and not rosacea. I feel like if a bottle doesn't says it's treating what I have then it's not going to help me any, I am weird like that. But I bought the smallest bottle they had just to try and see what I thought. To my surprise it has actually been helping. I still have two or three bad spots but they are small spots. I still have half a bottle so I will see if it clears up the rest and will check back. The bottle I purchased has 2.0oz and retails for $12(US).
That concludes my favorites for the month. I hope that you have enjoyed. Don't forget to comment below with your thought and opinions. If there is something that you would like me to review please let me know. Also, don't forget to subscribe!
